ABOUT MICHAEL
Post Grad Dip (HPE), BAc, MFHT, Dip in Life Coaching.
Returning to the UK after two tours of China, Michael trained under the esteemed Professor J R Worsley. He has continued to practise acupuncture for over 30 years, specialising in Five Element Theory – a Chinese philosophy based on the observation of the natural cycles and interrelationships in the environment and within us.
Michael is hugely passionate about his work with his particular focus being on the empowerment of not only his patients but also of students. He has tutored students through a 3 year Acupuncture degree course as Head of Year, Senior Clinical Supervisor, Dissertation Supervisor and Course Development Officer. As current Principal of the International College of Acupuncture, he now offers a Five Element Acupuncture Diploma and an online CPD (Continued Professional Development) Five Element Theory course.
His work as a lecturer has taken him as far as India where he worked with a group of Ayurvedic practitioners seeking to integrate acupuncture theories into their practice. He has written for the BAcC Magazine ’ACU’ and published his first book in 2016. Michael practices Acupuncture in private clinics across Oxfordshire.
